Several PGA and Senior PGA golf tournaments are held each year on Maui's courses. And South Maui has the perfect weather to go with the best golf in Hawaii.

There are 6 great courses within 6 miles of our condo. They are the Wailea Old Blue Golf Club, Wailea Emerald Course, Wailea Gold Course, Makena North Course,

Makena South Course, and Elleair Maui Golf Club. In addition, within 23 miles there are Kahili, Dunes at Maui Lani, Pukalani, and Waiehu. We've personally played all of these courses and they are great. It's hard to decide which to play.

Elleair Maui Golf Club		Elleair Maui Golf Club 18 Holes; Par 71; 6404 yards. Distance away - 3.0 Miles Click here for more information and discount online pricing. This course opened in 1987, and was originally known as Silversword. The trade winds hit the course usually in the mornings and late afternoons, and the course was designed with this in mind as many of the holes bring the wind into play.

The first course ever built in Wailea, the stately Blue is a gracious resort course that has been ranked among America's best resort courses by Golf Digest. Opened in 1993, the Makena North Course goes out of its way to make golfers feel at one with their natural surroundings. There are no distractions on this course-unless you considered the unobstructed views of the blue pacific, neighboring islands, and humpback whales breaching during whale season to be a bit distracting.

The proximity to the ocean is exactly why the Makena South Course is so special. Besides having two oceanfront holes, numbers fifteen and sixteen, the South Course also affords an excellent view of humpback whales that visit here each winter. And since they keep coming back year after year, they must be on to something good!

Formerly known as Sandalwood, The Kahili Golf Course is nestled in the foothills of the scenic West Maui Mountains, the course takes advantage of the local terrain and Hawaiian Trade Winds to create a unique golf experience.

The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course is built on million-year old sand dunes located in central Maui. Its 18 holes are unique to anything in America because of the terrain upon which they are set, and the design techniques which were deployed by the course's architect.
Waiehu Municipal		Waiehu Municipal 18 Holes; Par 72, 6330 yards. Distance away - 18.2 Miles Waiehu Golf Course overlooks a stunning tourmaline blue sea with the famous Waihe’e Reef in sight just offshore. The front nine holes play along the water while the back nine move up to a hillier area with ocean views. Waiehu Golf Course hosted the 1996 USGA Amateur Links Championship, and several local leagues regularly hold events there. Pukalani's fairways are wide and hilly, and its greens are fast and sloped. The course is located at 1,100 feet in elevation, resulting in cooler playing conditions. The biggest challenges come from the wind and elevation changes. The high elevation provides some great views of the Island of Maui.
